John is cutting the end of the sweetpeas for this season.  The recent hot weather put these into speed mode.  Behind him are our boysenberries.  They also ripened quickly on those hot days. What usually takes a week or so to coax out their sweetness, happened in 24 hours.  It will be interesting to see how that affects the quality.  Haven't noticed the birds zooming in yet.  They seem to be headed for the plum tree instead.
